Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about submitting, reviewing, and reading on ThesisPublisher.my.

Access

How do I access premium articles?
Open Access articles are free for everyone. Premium articles are available through an individual subscription, a pay-per-view purchase, or your institution’s access agreement.
Do you offer institutional access?
Yes. Institutions can enable IP-based and Shibboleth/OpenAthens authentication for campus-wide access. Contact us to set up an agreement.

Publishing

Is there an article processing charge (APC)?
Subscriber and institutional plans waive APCs. For other authors, any applicable charge is payable only after a manuscript is accepted — never at submission.
Do published articles receive a DOI?
Yes. Every accepted article is assigned a DOI and registered with CrossRef, then indexed with Google Scholar and DOAJ on the day of publication.

Submissions

What file formats do you accept for initial submission?
We accept PDF, Microsoft Word (.docx), and LaTeX source files. Formatting requirements are minimal at first submission — full typesetting standards apply only after acceptance.
How long does peer review take?
Reviewers commit to a 14-day turnaround, and authors receive an initial editorial decision within 21 days of submission. Overdue reviews are automatically reassigned.
Can I suggest or oppose reviewers?
Yes. During submission you may nominate preferred reviewers and note any conflicts of interest. The handling editor makes the final assignment.
